1. Jasper High School

Jasper is a really diverse school with a diverse student population! The school places a strong emphasis on both academics and the arts, creating a generally academically balanced learning environment. The professors here really care about the pupils and work hard to ensure that they are prepared for college and life beyond school.

The use of a block lunch system in the curriculum encourages students to finish their schoolwork, go to tutorials, and catch up with their professors and friends. No-homework Thursdays, where there is absolutely no schoolwork due on Friday, are one of my favourite school traditions because they encourage kids to support their sports teams and have a good time in high school.

2. Liberty High School

Best High Schools in Plano – Liberty High School

I had a fantastic experience at Liberty High School. The range of personality and activity in every subject I took was nothing short of astounding, and I always felt that my instructors, counsellors, principles, and other adult officials were looking out for my best interests and were eager to open doors and give direction to me. The school actually supported a range of learning experiences, since educational innovation was encouraged at every level of management I dealt with.

Liberty values technique and education almost as much as it values its pupils as individuals. It was a terrific setting full of opportunities, but it was eventually interacting with the professors there that made it such a positively transformational and pleasurable experience for me.

3. St. Mark’s School of Texas

Overall, St. Mark’s has an excellent programme. The Humanities series (a combination of English, History, and Social Studies) is very strong. As a result, my son’s writing abilities are far superior than those of his colleagues at other schools. Science is hit-or-miss; numerous teachers in that department are getting on in years and no longer appear to have the drive to interest young boys.

The language curriculum is relatively inadequate, especially in the brief middle school Spanish and Chinese lessons. The choir of St. Mark’s is magnificent, on par with the greatest in the world. Its athletic programme is likewise excellent, with every kid participating in a variety of team sports.

5. Greenhill School

Greenhill’s low student-faculty ratio has pleased me. Before and after school, teachers are always accessible to assist students. Greenhill has a wide range of course options and clubs to cater to a wide range of tastes. While the sports teams may not be among the top, most students may participate in sports if they desire to. I appreciate Greenhill’s variety; the student body includes students from all around the world. Students seek for institutions both nationally and globally, and they understand that they are a part of a much broader globe than just Texas.

Greenhill offers you with all of the resources you require as well as a top-notch education that allows you to follow your academic interests while also keeping balance in other areas. There is a strong focus on being well-rounded, and I was able to explore a variety of sports and artistic pursuits. Teachers are also very invested in their kids. The climate is not overly competitive, yet it motivates students to succeed.

14. Parish Episcopal School

Parish Episcopal Institution is a fantastic college preparation school that embodies what it means to be a Parish Panther via three key areas. Wisdom, Honor, and Service are the three fundamental values that Parish instils in its pupils. I have attended Parish my entire life and can honestly say that I have grown as a person from beginning to end.

There have been many great occasions for me there. I’ve tried almost every sport, with varying degrees of success. I’ve played for the purpose of attempting a sport, but I’ve also won a state title. Furthermore, the school is encouraging of the pupils’ ideas.

Despite the fact that it was an Episcopal school, there were students from various religious origins, and there were options in chapel so that everyone may attend without violating their convictions. I’m so delighted I switched from my small-town public school to a private school in the big metropolis of Dallas. I made friends I never expected to make and prepared for college in the greatest way imaginable.
